Four militants shot dead in J&KÔÇÖs Shopian, 2nd encounter in past 24 hours

Four militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and KashmirÔÇÖs Shopian district on June 8. The security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the Pinjora area of the district in South Kashmir after receiving information, a police official said, the operation turned into an encounter after the militants opened fire on personnel of a search party, who retaliated.
