France Discovers New Variant Of COVID-19 Named IHU, Severe Than Omicron
After Omicron variant of COVID-19, world witnessed a new variant IHU (B.1.640.2), which was discovered in France, on January 4. Experts at institution IHU Mediterranee, claimed the new variant to be more dangerous and infectious than Omicron, as it contain 46 mutations. In addition, France reported 12 cases of IHU infection, which is still under investigation by the World Health Organization (WHO). Details about this new variant is awaited.
