French Couple Finds A German Message Capsule Dating Over 100-Years-Old

In a rare discovery, a French couple found a message capsule on their fields in Eastern France probably being carried by pigeons during World War I. The message, believed to be sent by a Prussian soldier of the Ingersheim (erst Germany territory) suggests of military activity in German. The note points to a situation where German platoon is retreating back after suffering heavy losses. The unclear, handwritten note dates either from 1910 or 1916.
