French Open: Organisers Confirm Hosting Audience Amid Raising COVID Cases
On September 7, Organisers of the French Open confirmed allowing spectators amid rising Covid-19 cases in France. Safety regulations are released for the audience and only 50% of the seats are expected to be sold. Tournament director Guy Forget stated that the players will be allowed to play only if they test negative and that they will be tested once in every five days during the tournament. The tournament commences on September 27 in Rolland Garros.
