Further Economic Restrictions Aren't Necessary, Says UK Chancellor
The United Kingdom's Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak on October 23 went against the advice of some health experts that the virus could overwhelm in the upcoming winter by saying ''significant economic restrictions'' aren't necessary. He further said shops, pubs, and nightclubs can be opened to mark the success of the vaccine rollout. Besides, a poll said only 22% of the British public supported closing pubs and restaurants.
