Dr. Kamal Ranadive, an Indian cell biologist, was celebrated with a Google doodle on November 8 to commemorate her 104th birthday. Ranadive is most recognized for her innovative cancer research and dedication to using science and education to create a more equal society. The doodle shows Dr. Ranadive is gazing through a microscope. The doodle was created by Indian artist Ibrahim Rayintakath.
