Google Extends Deadline For Freezing Hirings To Encourage Existing Employees To Work More Efficiently
Google has allegedly extended the deadline for hiring freezes by two weeks in order to encourage existing staff to be more efficient and focused. According to a Business Insider report, Google has delayed this for another week. Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, stated that the firm has too many people, yet not enough of them work efficiently and with a purpose in mind. Google will keep hiring for "critical roles."
