Google To Pay News Corp For Service; Inks Deal For Three Years
Google has signed a three-year deal with mass media corporation News Corp., where the former will be paying for the news. The deal includes a subscription-based plan as well as a revenue-sharing model. Interestingly, the decision comes after a long pitched battle where the tech giant restricted Ad revenue thrived news portals. Moreover, Australia proposed a law that requires search engines and social media sites to pay for news outlets.
