Google Shows Kannada As "Ugliest Language", Apologises After Outrage
World's largest search engine Google on June 3 faced extreme criticism and backlash for showing Kannada as India's "ugliest language" in an answer to a query. The search result created a huge outrage on social media platforms. Subsequently, the response was later deleted by Google stating that "these are not reflective of the opinion of Google". Meanwhile, Karnataka Forest Minister Arvind Limbavali stated, "Legal action will be taken against Google."
