Google To Work With UK Regulator To Remove 'Cookies', Gives Users More Privacy
According to a proposal presented on June 11, Google would be unable to remove user-tracking technology that is vital to advertisers from its Chrome browser without the approval of Britain's competition regulator. Companies in the advertisement industry expressed their concern, as they would suffer huge losses if the world's most used browser removed cookies. Furthermore, google said that users expect the web to be secure and the cookies track users in concerning ways.
