Government Plans To Start Border Tourism In Jammu & Kashmir
The tourism department of J&K, wrote to concerned authorities to open up tourism along the LoC in the valley. The decision came after a ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan. Three districts of north Kashmir-Bandipora, Baramulla, and Kupwara, which share the LoC with PoK can be tapped for the same. The ministry is committed to promoting tourism in the border areas in J&K on a priority basis, said an official.
