Government Receives Offers Worth Rs 1.5 Lakh Crore In 5G Spectrum Auction

The government, on the seventh day of the 5G spectrum auction on August 1, received bids totaling more than Rs 1.5 lakh crore. On July 26, India held its first-ever auction of 5G spectrum. The auction concluded after 40 rounds of bidding over the course of seven days. The total amount of the bids received was Rs 1,50,173 crore. Reliance Jio, as per sources, has been the most aggressive bidder.
