Government-run hospitals to receive 50,000 ventilators through PM-CARES Fund

PM-CARES Fund will deliver 50,000 ventilators to government-run hospitals across the country to fight the Coronavirus pandemic. An amount of 2,000 crore has been allocated for the manufacturing and supplying of the 'Made in India' ventilators. So far 2,923 ventilators have been manufactured out of which 1,340 have been delivered to the States and Union territories.
