Government Schools In Delhi To Use Solar Electricity; Expected To Save 8.8 Crore
Around 150 government schools in Delhi to use solar systems under the central government's scheme for building solarisation. The scheme is expected to elevate the income through selling the electricity generated by the solar plates and reduce electricity bills. According to the reports, about 21 megawatts (MW) solar connection has been installed and is expected to save about Rs 8.8 crore in bills and shall earn about Rs 8.56 crore.
