Govt Denies Claims On Foreign Aid Relief Materials Stuck In Customs

The Union Health Ministry on May 6 denied the claims on oxygen concentrators received as foreign aid lying in customs warehouses waiting for clearance. Concerning such fake reports, the ministry said 'The news is totally incorrect...the Indian Customs is swiftly clearing all consignments and no such figure of pendency' is reported in allocated locations to battle the COVID-19 surge. Reportedly, India received 3,000 oxygen concentrators from abroad as aid.
