UP Govt Invites Oxygen Manufacturers To Install Oxygen Production Units

The UP Pollution Control Board has launched ‘Nivesh Mitra Portal’ to invite oxygen manufacturers for creating oxygen production facility. The UPPCB also allowed to undertake modification in existing units. While the decision came amid pandemic-led oxygen crisis, the PCB urged to start peoduction while complying with standards of Emission and Effluent, Environment (Protection) Act. The plants will be based on Cryogenic, Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) and/or Water Electrolysis technologies.
