Govt Issues Vaccination Guidelines For Those Without Identity Cards

The Union Health Ministry on May 7 released the Standard Operating Procedure to administer COVID jab to people without identity cards. The government will assign a facilitator with a valid i-card who will ensure smooth vaccination of the. Reportedly the move will benefit nomads, prison inmates, beggars, patients at mental hospitals and people in rehabilitation centers. 'Covid-19 vaccination services may not be denied in absence of identity proofs,' Ministry said.
