Govt Nods BCCI To Use Drones In Matches For 2021 Cricket Season
The BCCI has received a conditional exemption from the Civil Aviation Ministry and Directorate General of Civil Aviation to use drones while filming matches for 2021 Indian cricket season. Reportedly, the move would help broadcasters to relay live aerial cinematography. Earlier, the BCCI had used drones for IPL matches. Aviation Ministry’s Amber Dubey said the exemption would help the government to promote the commercial use of drones in the country.
