Govt Planning To Offer COVID Vaccines At Pvt Hospitals For Rs 250/Jab

The Health Ministry is supposedly planning to offer COVID-19 vaccines at private hospitals for inoculating people above 60 and over 45 having comorbidities from March 1. As a part of the upcoming vaccination drive, the vaccines will be available at Rs 250/dose in 20,000 hospitals. Initially, while only Serum Institue of India's Covisheld will be available at private hospitals, around 1,500 NABH and NBE accredited hospitals have sought Ministry for inclusion in the list.
