Govt Should Facilitate Finance Entrepreneurship Initiatives: ICGE-II

The final day of the second edition of the International Conference on Gender Equality focused on the "challenging gendered power structures in sustainable entrepreneurship and social business." The conference held at the Gender Park Campus in Kerala's Kozhikode highlighted the government's roles in facilitating the finances related to sustainable entrepreneurship initiatives and businesses. Moreover, it emphasized how government policies, government responses, and people's participation play a significant role in driving social enterprises. The program featured co-founder & Editor-in-Chief of Khabar Lahariya Kavita Devi and Priyanka Dutt, Country Director, BBC Media Action, India. State Health Minister KK Shailaja Teacher, while delivering the concluding remarks, conveyed how the Kerala government is mulling to draft policies on social business and enterprises along with the collaboration methods that would go behind it.
