Govt Taking Necessary Measures Against Dubious Digital Loan Apps In India

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the Government of India is taking action against dubious digital loan apps, including those originating from outside the country. During the Parliament session, Sitharaman clarified these loan apps, saying Indians who helped in setting them up will also be facing strict actions. On August 2, Rajya Sabha proceedings, Union FM said, many Indian borrowers are being harassed and money is being extorted.
