Grammy Awards Replaces 'Secret' Nomination Committees With Voting

Following allegations of rigging in major categories, 'Grammy' Awards organisers have decided to end the practice of ‘secret’ committees. Instead, the nominations for the 2022 will be based on the decision of 11,000 voting members, stated The Recording Academy. Earlier, the award received criticisms from musicians like The Weekend, Zayn Malik, and Halsey claiming the selection of the awardees was not transparent. However, the academy earlier dismissed the claims.
