Guinea Confirms Return Of Ebola Virus After Years; 2 Deaths Reported
Following three deaths and four positive cases, Guinea authorities have confirmed the return of Ebola virus to the country, five years after being declared Ebola-free. The latest outbreak was traced at a funeral in February where six people developed symptoms. Meanwhile, the Guinea government has started contact tracing, isolating all suspected cases until procuring WHO's Ebola vaccine. Besides, WHO has set up testing/treatment facilities in the epicentre and neighbouring countries.
