Haryana Govt Shuts Cinema Halls, Sports Complexes In 5 Districts Amid COVID-19 Surge

Haryana govt announced fresh restrictions in five districts, from January 2 till January 12, amid surge in Covid-19 cases and Omicron variant. As per state govt guidelines, cinema halls, swimming and sports-complexes will remain closed in five districts; Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ambala, Panchkula, and Sonipat. However, malls and markets are allowed to stay open till 5 pm, while bars and restaurents can function with 50% of their seating capacity.
