Mob Attacks Health Officials on COVID -19 Duty
Health Officials Attacked by Mob in Containment Zone: Kerala

A 25-year-old doctor and two health officials were stuck in their car when as many as 50 people rushed to attack them. The incident took place in the containment zone of Kerala's Capital Thiruvananthapuram on July 10. In view of COVID-19, the doctor was assigned duty at the Community Health Centre and was supposed to wear PPE Kits and collect swabs. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan condemned the attack and said it was politically motivated.
