Hero Cycles Snaps Rs 900 Cr. Deal With China, Looks West To Germany

Aligned with the "Boycott Chinese Products" campaign, Hero Cycles' Chairman-Cum-Managing Director (CMD) Pankaj Munjal has decided to cancel all upcoming trade ties with China worth almost Rs 900 crore. Germany will be considered as a substitute of China's high end cycle production facility. The upcoming Cycle Valley in Ludhiana, will also be used by Hero to train smaller companies to manufacture high-end cycle parts, said Munjal.
