Hollongi Greenfield Airport In Arunachal Pradesh Titled 'Donyi Polo'

The Arunachal Pradesh administration has named the Itanagar airport, which is currently under construction, "Donyi Polo Airport." The name of Itanagar's lone airport would signify the tribally dominating state's long-standing customs and rich cultural history, as well as the populace's long-standing indigenous veneration for the Sun (Donyi) and the Moon (Polo). Itanagar's "Donyi Polo Airport" will be Arunachal Pradesh's third airport, following Pasighat and Tezu, and northeast India's 16th.
