Hong Kong's Democracy Activists Remanded In Custody As They Plead Guilty
Hong Kong's pro-democracy activists - Joshua Wonga, Ivan Lam and Agnes Chow - are likely to get sentenced a 5-year jail term for their involvement in the June 2019 protests. Reportedly, the activists have pleaded guilty in court on November 23. While entering the court, Wong said, "It will not be surprising if I am sent to immediate detention today." The trio will be staying in custody till December 2.
