Hyderabad Customs Officials Seizes Gold Worth Rs 16.5 Lakhs

Hyderabad custom officials searched two male passengers, coming from Dubai and found the smuggled gold worth Rs 16 .5 lakhs. The searches were based on the passenger profiling, and the Customs Air Intelligence input. During search of bags of the passengers, a total of 13 small cut pieces of gold were found inside the chocolates carried in the carton box, weighed around 269 gm. A case is registered with investigation.
