Hyderabad Knocks Bangalore Out In Eliminator; Williamson Shines With Bat
Sunrisers Hyderabad outplayed Royal Challengers Bangalore in a thriller 'eliminator' game to book a spot in second 'Qualifier'. In a small and tricky chase of 132 runs, Sunrisers composed their innings after losing wicket of opener Goswami in the first over. However, one thing that acts as a silver lining for Sunrisers is the fact that for every other match, they have a new performer in batting line-up. Subsequently, for this match, Williamson and Jason Holder emerged as the sailors, who helped Hyderabad to cruise over to a last-over victory. Earlier batting first, RCB skipper Kohli was quick to go back to dugout followed by wickets at regular interval. Renowned for his spearhead bowling attack, Holder took two early wickets to break the momentum of RCB. Later, with Finch's 32 off 30 deliveries and de Villiers' 43-ball 56-run, Bangalore could scale to 131 runs for seven wickets. Now, SRH will take Delhi Capitals in the 'Qualifier 2'.
