‘I Am Full-Time Congress President’: Sonia Gandhi At CWC Meeting

Striking back at the critics within the party during Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting in Delhi, interim-President Sonia Gandhi on October 16 said that she is a “full-time and hands-on party president”. Referring to elections within the Congress party for a new president, she said, “The entire organization wants a revival of the Congress. But this requires unity and keeping the Party’s interests paramount. Above all, it requires self-control and discipline.”
