IAF: Flying Birds Pose a Threat to Fighter Aircrafts, Especially Rafale
Air Marshal Manvendra Singh has expressed concerns over the security of the Rafale aircraft, citing "bird problems". In a letter to the Chief Secretary of Haryana, he requested the state to improve cleanliness, impose fines for littering, and prohibit bird-breeding activities around the Ambala air base. Reportedly, Ambala Municipal Corporation responded by banning breeding of birds within 10 km radius of the base.
