IIMC Delhi Appoints Sacked Madhya Pradesh BJP IT Cell Head As Professor

Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi appointed a former BJP IT-Cell Head Anil Kumar Saumitra, who was sacked by the party over contentious remark on Mahatma Gandhi, as professor. In May 2019, Saumitra's Facebook post read, "He [Gandhi] was the father of the nation, but of Pakistan..." Selected from over 60 applicants, Saumitra will be under 2-year probation period. When inquired about the appointment, IIMC Director Sanjay Dwivedi said, “No comment.”
