IIT Student Who Committed Suicide Was Discriminated Over Caste, Says Family

An 18-year-old Dalit student at IIT Bombay, who died allegedly by suicide, was insulted on campus. Recently sources revealed that IIT student Darshan Solanki spoke to his sister and aunt about being ostracised by his friends because of his caste. However, IIT Bombay administration denied any discrimination on the campus. Notably, Darshan committed suicide after being harassed and discriminated by students at the IIT Bombay Campus.
