IMA Demands Limited Working Hours For COVID-19 Doctors

Indian Medical Association demanded limited working hours for doctors amid the worsening "COVID-19" situation. The association asked the Central Government to limit working hours to eight hours and take extra precaution for "mental health" of resident doctors, working on COVID-19 patients. Besides, quarantine of 10-14 days, compensation and arrangements of medical facilities should be given to doctors. Notably, 10,000 were affected and over 2,000 doctors died during COVID-19 second wave.
