IMD Issues Heatwave Alert For Indian States

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an alert for several states of India, amid rising temperature. In Odisha, alert has been issued till April 15, asking people not to venture out in scorching heat. In addition, districts of Telangana also witnessed extreme rise in temperature, following which the IMD issued an orange alert. In Andhra Pradesh also, 32 Mandals are under alert. In 2023, Indian states will witness extreme summers.
