IMD Predicts Fresh Western Disturbance In North West India
An intense Western-Disturbance is likely to affect Northwest India from the night of January 6, triggering rainfall in several parts of the country, predicted India Meteorological Department (IMD). "Under its influence, an induced cyclonic circulation is very likely to form over southwest Rajasthan and the neighbourhood on January 7." According to the weather department, widespread rainfall, snowfall is very likely over the Western Himalayan-Region during January 7-9 and decrease thereafter.
