India, Aus, France Hold Discussions amid ongoing India-China Border Tensions

On September 9, foreign secretaries of India, Australia, and France held the first senior officials' trilateral virtual meet, to strengthen economic and geo-strategic ties of the Indo-Pacific region. They discussed about the ongoing border tensions between India and China, and how it is affecting the efforts taken by ASEAN countries, to further strengthen cooperation. The three countries also discussed the COVID-19 situation.
