India Confirms First-Ever Medal In Lawn Bowls At CWG 2022, To Play South Africa In Finals

India defeated New Zealand 16-13 in the semifinals of the Women's Fours event at the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham to secure their first ever Lawn Bowls medal on August 1. With a comeback win in the semis, Lovely Choubey (lead), Pinki (second), Nayanmoni Saikia (third), and Rupa Rani Tirkey (skip) secured the final position. They will face South Africa in the final on August 2 at 4:15 PM IST.
