India Describes Violence In Bangladesh During Durga Puja As 'Disturbing'
Allegations of violence in Bangladesh during Durga-Puja have been described as "disturbing" by India, which says Indian-High-Commission and consulates are in regular communication with government and local-authorities. Communal-violence erupted in various-parts of Bangladesh on October 13 after reports of purported destruction of Holy-Quran at a Durga-Puja site on bank of Nanuar-Dighi. Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh prime-minister, has issued a stern warning, for individuals engaged in attacks on Hindu-temples and Durga-Puja locations.
