India Exported 38 Lakh Litres Of Water; China Biggest Consumer

Union Minister Hardip Singh Puri has apprised that between 2015-2021, India had exported around 38,50,431 litres of water worldwide. The export comprises 23,78,227 litres of mineral water, 6,02,389 litres of aerated water, and 8,69,815 litres of natural. Interestingly, in 2019-20, a bulky proportion of the water was proceeded to China, followed by the Maldives. However, experts have criticized exports considering government's inefficiency with water supply targets back home.
