India, France Working On Third Joint Space Mission: ISRO Chairman
ISRO Chairman K Sivan on March 19 stated India and France are working on their third joint space mission. Terming France as “the biggest partner of India in space," Sivan said that many French companies were keen to benefit from the Centre’s space reforms. Besides ISRO and French space agency CNES’ earth observation satellite mission and thermal imaging satellite TRISHNA, the countries are working on India’s OCEANSAT-3 and regional navigation satellite NavIC.
