India impose restrictions to limit sale of Chinese goods to govt. organisations

Amid the border tensions and calls for ban on Chinese products, Indian government via an online portal, is restricting the commerce of Chinese goods and maximising procurement. The government announced a change in requirements for users of its Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal in a statement on June 23. The portal will provide a "Make in India" filter to promote small and domestic businesses.
