India Mourns Death Of former Japanese PM Shinzo Abe, National Flag Flown At Half-Mast

As a sign of respect for former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who was killed on July 8, the national tricolor was flown at half-mast on July 9 at Red Fort, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and Parliament House. The unfortunate death of Abe shocked PM Narendra Modi. "I am shocked and saddened beyond words at the tragic demise of one of my dearest friends, Shinzo Abe," tweeted PM Modi.
