India Not To Go With Pfizer Vaccine Due To Storage Hurdles
Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine, which needs to be stored in ultra-cold temperature at minus 70-degree Celsius, may not be imported in India. The reason for the development is attributed to the lack of such storage facilities in India, especially in rural areas. However, an official said that vaccines of Oxford-AstraZeneca and Bharat Biotech are likely to get approval soon. Reportedly, Oxford-AstraZeneca will apply for emergency use authorisation for its vaccine in few days.
