India recorded biggest one-day jump in deaths and coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

India has recorded the biggest one-day jump in number of coronavirus deaths and cases, with a spike of 260 deaths and 9,304 cases in the last 24 hours. While the total cases have increased to 2,16,919, the death toll in the country has surged to 6,075. As many as 25 states and Union Territories have reported deaths.
