India Reports 19,406 New COVID Cases & 49 Deaths In Last 24 Hours: COVID Update

India reported 19,406 new cases of COVID-19 and 49 fatalities in the last 24 hours, on August 6. A recovery rate of 98.50% has been recorded in the country, taking the total active caseload to 1,34,793. India's daily positivity rate stands at 4.96%, and weekly positivity rate at 4.63%. Furthermore, India has administered over 205.92 crore cumulative doses of COVID vaccine, since the beginning of the pandemic.
