India Reports 3,011 New COVID Cases & 28 Deaths In Last 24 Hours: COVID Update

India reported 3,011 new cases of COVID-19 and 28 fatalities in the last 24 hours on October 4. A recovery rate of 98.73% has been recorded in the country, taking the total active caseload to 36,126. India’s daily positivity rate stands at 1.29%, and weekly positivity rate at 1.39%. Furthermore, India has administered over 218.68 crore cumulative doses of COVID vaccine, since the beginning of the pandemic.
