India Seeks Women Participation in Peace Keeping Operation at UN

On August 28, India has co-sponsored a security council resolution in the UN that seeks women participation in peacekeeping missions. The resolution was proposed by Indonesia and it calls for full, effective and meaningful participation" of women for the same. India’s Mission took to twitter saying, "India is proud to co-sponsor" the resolution that has been passed and would continue to support the involvement of women in all areas.
