India Suffers Third Highest Number Of Malware Attacks Globally
Acronis' cyberthreats report for 2020 revealed that India suffered the third highest number of malware attacks, trailing Japan and US. About 31% of companies globally faced cyberattacks on daily basis in 2020. Moreover, the attacks, which are predicted to increase in 2021, targetted remote-workers with about 1688 malware attacks reported per 1000 clients. Global Business Development Leader of Inside Sales at Acronis, Rajesh Chhabra, stated, "Because of weak technologies, cybersecurity is failing globally."
